    1. [ILCHRIST] marriage lookup Christian Co.
    2. Lucy Manson
    3. Michelle, I have another possible marriage that you may be able to help me with. I have found the father of Ann Eliza Bradley (who you helped me with before) living in Pana,IL in 1860 already remarried after his wife's death in 1858. I also know that they were living there in 1859. So there is a good chance to find his marriage in this county. Here is the info: William H. Bradley (or Bradly) married Agnes (dont know the last name-I got that much from the census!). sometime between 1858-1860 -most likely not 1858. Is there a city directory for Pana from this period? Thanks fo your help, Lucy Michelle wrote: > > At 03:53 PM 08/25/1999 -0400, you wrote: > >I am new to this list and would like to ask if there is anyone with info > >on the family of Joseph K. 2. I believe the Pana library has obits on film, but I don't know how to obtain copies without being there in person. I would like to hear if someone knows how to obtain such by mail. [email protected]

    1. Re: [ILCHRIST] Pana Obit
    2. Here's something you might try. My great-grandparents died in Pana in the 1970s and it worked for me. The public library in downtown Springfield, IL, has a card file of obituaries and where they can be located. Surprisingly, the obituaries for my great-grandparents and a few other family members from that area were printed in the Springfield newspaper. The Springfield library had the newspapers I needed on microfilm.

    1. Re: [ILCHRIST] Obituary Source for 1930's
    2. The Breeze Courier is the present day newspaper for Taylorville. It was the local paper for the time period you are seeking. You can probably write the newspaper as they have microfilm copies and a printer. You could also get the microfilm on interlibrary loan from the state Historical library. I think you can also send to the Illinois State Historical and get a copy of the obituary form them. I do not know the fees charged by the newspaper or the Historical Library. Also, do the publications still exist, or is there a library or society who would provide copies by mail? I'm looking for the surname SWEDICK/SCHWITTECK.
