    1. [ILCHRIST] Assumption Street Name
    2. I have found my granduncle lived in Assumption in 1910 from the Census. However, I can't read the name of the street they lived on. It looks like it could be "Pelham St.", but the first letter might also be a B and not a P. The 1910 Census copies are pretty blurry. Is anyone familiar with the town of Assumption? I find it just above Pana on the map. Is there a street name that might fit? Robert L. Reed The Woodlands, TX

    1. [ILCHRIST] LESLIE
    2. Hi list, We are searching for information on Alexander M. LESLIE born 1845 to John D. and Jane McCaskell Leslie. The family migrated to Alabama from North Carolina around or before 1850. A biographical sketch of the Leslie family in Union Springs, Macon Co., AL, stated that the oldest boy, Alexander (Sandy) Leslie went to Illinois as a young man. Cemetery records show that he came back to Birmingham, AL to attend the funerals of his mother and sisters in early 1900's, and his address was always given as Morrisonville, Illinois. If anyone has any information on any Leslies in this area, would really appreciate hearing from you. Thanks in advance, Evelyn Leslie
