    1. [ILCHRIST] Census records
    2. Hi list, We are hitting all deadends trying to locate Great Uncle Alexander LESLIE. He was born about 1845 and went to Illinois as "a young man" which would probably mean about early 1860's. His last known address was Morrisonville, IL, found on obits for his sisters in Birmingham, AL in the 1920's listing him as a survivor. Sally very kindly responded to my first request with 2 Leslie phone numbers in Morrisonville and Taylorville. The number in Morrisonville is no longer connected and have had no response to several messages left on the answering machine for the other. We wrote a letter c/o Morrisonville P.O. which was returned - "forwarding address expired." Does anyone have access to census records in the Morrisonville area who might could locate any information on him - did he marry, were there children, etc.? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions! Evelyn Leslie Remlap, AL
