Hello, I Have been collecting civil war letters and documents for the last few years from the 48th Illinois but lately I have found my self collecting more and more Champaign county items. I have a strong interest in Urbana paper items from before 1865 such as, Family letters, Documents, autographs or newspapers from the Urbana Union. My strongest interest is stampless letters and documents from before 1846 and a autograph of the first mayor Archa Campbell from 1855.
