Hello, I am trying to find information regarding the James Romine family that lived in Champaign County from approx. 1837-1844. (The older children stayed on longer). James' wife Elizabeth (Adkins) Romine supposedly died in Champaign around 1844. I have not been able to confirm this. Are there any death records from this time period?? Also, one of James Romine's children was married in Champaign and I would like to obtain copies of the marriage license. The childs names was Catherine Romine married John Black 3-4-1846. Could someone tell me where to write for this item and what the cost might be?? Finally, is there a library in Champaign that might have further information on this family? If so, are they on line?? Any addition informaiton or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks. Robin.
