(dates and places of births were taken from the 1900 Rockwall Co., TX Federal Census). There is some confusion concerning my great-grandmother's name. Gilliland Jan 13, 1867 and George Washington Springer July 1870) I checked the IL Marriage records and I found a VHILITTE Morgan and G. W. Gilliland that married Jan 13, 1867 in Calhoun Co., IL Their daughter, my grandmother, Effie Florence Springer b. Aug 23, 1873 was born in Urbana, Champaign Co., IL. She married Joseph N. Cloud b.
