Hi -- I'm new to this list and I'm beginning my search with anything on the Keefers, some of who lived in Champaign. My G Grandfather was William Howard Keefer married to Carrie May Watkins. Their children that lived to adulthood include Jessie May (my grandmother), Vinnie Irene, Aleida Marie, and Camilla Maria. William was born in 1860 and died in 1939. He had many brothers and sisters but the only ones that remained in the area were Elmer C. (married Mary White) and Mamie (married Frank Zillich). Other children include: Fannie, Laura, Lettie, Eva, Frank, and Alta. I have more info if anyone is interested. Thanks -- Bob
