Bea, I am looking for the surname James in Champaign COunty, although it would have only been from the 1900's. I am looking for a Ross T. James (aka Roscoe) who was born in Albion, Edwards County Illinois on July 31, 1885. I believe he married a woman named Layla and was living in Sadorus at least in 1921 and 22 which is when his parents died and he is listed in the obituaries.
