Janet, I knew lots of Duitsman's from the Royal/Ogden/St. Joseph area. There are still lots of them there. I would just look one up in the Royal area and start from there. My insurance agent is Dan Duitsman of St. Joseph. I think there is one gentle named Ike Duitsman that lives in Royal and is around 90 years old, that might be one of the group your grandmother is referring too.
