Sydney, there were Beards that lived in Hoopeston, IL and I know a lady that was married to a Beard, and she lives in Colfax, IL, McLean County, but I don't know her married name now. Her and Beard were divorced when her children were very young. She had twins, Sheridan and Irene. The mother who married the Beard her first name was Mary. She lived with her father until he died in Hoopeston. Mary is pretty close to 70 years old if not older but she is as spry as she was when she was 16 probably. Irene, one of the twins, had breast cancer and died and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in LeRoy, IL, also on McLean County. Mary had another daughter named Susan and I believe that she still lives in Hoopeston. I think that Sheridan lives in Bloomington.
