My mother's, mother's, mother was Gabriel and Harriets daughter Alice. I was raised in Lanark, Carroll Co, IL in the area Gabriel and Harriet moved to, and raised their family. Many of the Sarbers are buried in the Lanark Cemetery and nearby Evangelical Cemetery. I still have family in this area and plan on going back to Lanark,Il later this year to do additional research.
