I am not related in any way to this family, or have any other knowledge of this family other than what I wrote here...but perhaps it will help with some of your questions: In the 1850 Census Charlotte is listed as living with Ralph Southworth, age 35 b. in NY; Elizabeth J. age 20 b. KY; Amelia age 1 b. in IL; Elvira Trask, aged 15 b. in NY; and Rebecca Brutty age 47 b. in KY. Charlotte herself is listed as 75 years old born in Mass. In the County Cemetery/Tombstone readings for the Upper York Township Cemetery, York Twp; Carroll county, IL the following entries may be of interest: Lot 37; Section C. POTTER: Jacob, aged 62, 1805-1857? POTTER: Juia Ann, his wife, aged 74 years (buried in 1902) POTTER: Alice, daughter of J. & J. A. d. June (broken, unreadable stone) POTTER: George, d. Dec. 24, 1885, aged 23y 3m 28d POTTER: Frank, d. April 26, 1891, aged 32y SOUTHWORTH: Charlotta, d. Feb 7, 1863, aged 88y 10m 11d POTTER: Luther, died March 6, aged 85y POTTER: Stone gone from base, (Albert Potter, buried 1932) LOT 38 CARROLL: Robert D., father 1857-1925 CARROLL: Anna B., mother 1862-1931 CARROLL: Sharpe R., son 1891 - 1943 (buried 9/16) TRASK: Lucius d. Oct 7, 1848, aged 8 weeks TRASK, Lucia died Sept 10, 1848, aged 5 weeks Children of E. & P Trask LOT 58 Section B SOUTHWORTH: Elizabeth J. wife of Ralph, d. August 19, 1850 aged 20 y 9m 11d.
