Nicholas Warfield (b1796, probably in MD), came to Carroll County from Franklin Co., PA, in the mid to late 1840's. I've had trouble finding any obituary for him in 1869, the supposed date of his death. I can't swear to it, but I believe I've seen the Schreiner or Schriner name before, probably on a late-1800's Plat map or perhaps a census. I'll check it tonight. Good luck.
