My paternal GGrandmother was Susan Idella Patten, her father was James Patten b. 10/29/1821 in OH. Her mother was Anna Elizabeth Irwin b. 4/19/1821 in KY, they had 6 children. Napoleon Bonaparte Patten b.11/9/1860 in MN, Sarah A. Patten b. 3/12/1865 in MN, Susan Idella Patten b. 5/2/1866 in MN, Jasper Patten , Eliza Jane Patten, Belle Patten. Susan and Sarah married two Sloan brothers in KS after the family moved there. James wasn't with them, figure he died either in MN or on the way to KS. Napoleon, Jasper and Eliza migrated to Oregon.
