I have a Vanderhyden in my file. John Vanderhyden was married to a Rebecca Steel. They had Susan J. Vanderhyden. Susan was born August 01, 1860. Susan's death certificate says she was born in Bennington, Penn. I haven't been able to find that town. I have found a Bennington, Vermont. Susan's obit says she had these brothers: Ernest, Nick & Lewis of Sandwich, DeKalb Co., IL, Edward of DeKalb, IL. and John of Joliet, IL. Susan Vanderhyden married Lewis Charles Loveland. They lived in Aurora, Kane Co., IL. I am wondering if you have come across this John Vanderhyden family. In the obit of Susan who died in 1920 states that her father John was still alive in Sandwich, DeKalb Co., IL. Susan's obit doesn't say anything about her mother so I am assuming she has passed away. Hoping someone can help me.Thank You.
