Sorry...routed this wrong last time: My fourth great grandfather Rees HEATON of Bureau County, IL was born February 7, 1783. He lived in Greene Co., PA during his childhood and married Sarah Dell Weaver . In 1814 Mr. Heaton and family immigrated to Trumbull County, Ohio, and in 1836 to Bureau County, Ill., and settled at Heaton's Point in Bureau Township. He resided there until his death which occurred June 7, 1878. They were the parents of eight children, five of whom are living, viz.: William W., now a resident of Cherokee County, Kan.; Isaac, our subject; Abagail, wife of Harrison Epperson, of Afton, Union Co., Iowa: Dan of Frontier County, Neb,; Elizabeth, wife of S.R. Elliott of Dover Township; Nancy, wife of Hezekiah Epperson, died in November, 1865; Hannah, wife of James Wilson of Dover Township, died in 1852; Cyrus R. died February 1845. Have alot of information to share and would like to learn more about Rees's ancestors, his descendants as well as the descendants of his siblings. Any cousins out there? Linda Matthews Redmond, WA
