    3. another possibility Bev, you can also write to the Office of Public Information at the Pentagon in Washington dc and request a listing of personnel that served in the Armed Forces during that war. the records will list the name, place of residence prior to service entry and date and place of discharge. Often the next of kin, such as parents or wife is listed in the file as well.
