I said I was looking for Nancy Ellen Mayfield in 1850 but I was wrong! I know where she was in 1850 - in Arkansas with her parents and siblings. She was in Bond County in 1860 with her mother (a widow) at age 16. I need to find her on the 1870 census, not the 1850. Sorry. I hope there is a census record in Bond County that shows where she was - my grandmother said her mother (Nancy Ellen) was with "an uncle and his family" which would have to be a Bradley, a Walker or a Mayfield.
