I have a copy of the Federal Land Sale to my gggrandfather Isaac PATTON, who gave his address as being from Bond County, Illinois. This was in late 1850. I believe he was married at the time to Jane (WILKERSON, WILKINSON), is there any record of him in the county. I know he was born May 17, 1828 in Illinois but do not know his parents or where he was born. Were there and PATTONs in Bond County at that time frame with a son of that age? All help appreciated.
