Is anyone familiar with a Samuel Marion BALCH (BLOCK) who married Ella K. GIBBINS in AR in the late 1800's? Samuel was the son of Andrew Jackson BALCH who moved to IL from TN. The perplexing thing about the above marriage is that I got the data from the site of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, I sent the data to the records office in Arkansas, and they responded that they could not find information about the marriage. ARRRGG! I was told that the data was correct because it was from an ACTUAL government record and not from an individual sending in family data. I also have been unsuccessful in finding these BALCHes in AR. Does anyone have ideas of how to pursue further this marriage license or how BALCH and GIBBINS met? Thank you! Adrian Sinclair Balch
