July 1853 Ayres Allen Freeman b. 25 Dec. 1854, d. June 21 1856 Perlina Simmons died on May 30, 1889 in Junction City, KS--and was buried at Highland Cemetery. The cause of death is listed as old age--this per the Junction City Tribune, May 30, 1889. After the death of her first husband, she had remarried. Her marriage to James Rainey took place on June 27, 1866. He apparently predeceased her, prior to her emigration to Kansas. Any further information on any of these individuals would be very welcome. I particularly would like to learn about the parentage of Perlina and Alexander. I know that Perlina's father's name was Charles, and that she was born in TN. Alexander was supposed to have been born in VA, but I have no further clues to his origins. Thank you very much! Jill
