    1. [ILBOND-L] BROWN, SPRATT, CARY, WEBER, SHEERER
    2. Neal B. Brown
    3. Wilson BROWN bought land in Bond County about 1836. He was in Gibson County, Tennessee in 1828 and became the guardian of his children William Newburn, Martha, Betsey and Calvin, with grandparents Lewis and Jemima BROWN. He arrived in Bond with a new wife, Sarah Jenkins and had several children by her who lived and died in Bond County. Wilson died in 1850. In 1842 Calvin BROWN married Nancy SPRATT in Fayette County. In 1846 Calvin BROWN and John SPRATT volunteered and fought in the Mexican American War, and Calvin obtained land in Bond County with War Bounty Land papers. In 1876 Calvin BROWN and wife Nancy SPRATT, and three of their sons-in-law, Melvin August CARY, Jacob(Fred) WEBER and Frank SHEERER, and son Theodore BROWN and daughter Amanda BROWN left for Whitman County, Washington Territory. I am looking for information about these families while they lived in Bond County. I also hope to connect with other descendants of these families. And to learn more about who Wilson BROWN was and where he came from prior to his arrival in Bond County. Neal B.
