    2. Cynthia Le Mons
    3. This is for the gentleman who asked about Daniel Nevinger - I believe it was Gerald. Daniel was born 7 Jul 1816, grew up in York Township PA, starting west in 1837. He stopped in New Lancaster OH, met and married Elizabeth Hawkey in 1843, then they moved to Preble Co OH (where the original name Nebinger was changed to Nevinger), Twelve of their 14 children were born here. In 1862 they moved to Mulberry Grove Twp, in Bond Co. In 1882, he moved his family to Central Twp, outside Greenville, next to Hazel Dell Cemetery, and lived their the rest of his life. He dieed in 1893, Elizabeth in 1896, and they are buried next to their home. This is courtesy of "Descendants of Daniel Nevinger," generously given to me by Nelda Anthony. If you need anything else, let me know. My gg aunt, Rachel Thompson Van Dyke's daughter, Elizabeth, married Granville Nevinger. Best regards, Cindy Le Mons

July 1853 Ayres Allen Freeman b. 25 Dec. 1854, d. June 21 1856 Perlina Simmons died on May 30, 1889 in Junction City, KS--and was buried at Highland Cemetery. The cause of death is listed as old age--this per the Junction City Tribune, May 30, 1889. After the death of her first husband, she had remarried. Her marriage to James Rainey took place on June 27, 1866. He apparently predeceased her, prior to her emigration to Kansas. Any further information on any of these individuals would be very welcome. I particularly would like to learn about the parentage of Perlina and Alexander. I know that Perlina's father's name was Charles, and that she was born in TN. Alexander was supposed to have been born in VA, but I have no further clues to his origins. Thank you very much! Jill

    1. [ILBOND-L] IL Bond and Fayette Co. Roberts and Mayfield
    2. JBickers
    3. Hello--I am new to the list and seeking information on the following Bond and Fayette County families: Roberts and Mayfield. My ancestors: Larkin Roberts married Margery Mayfield on April 3, 1843--according to License 584 vol 2 p. 6 in Montgomery County. I believe he is the same Larkin Roberts who married Elizabeth Swan on March 3, on March 13, 1856. These dates come from the Illinois Marriage Index. According to hand typed information (done, I am pretty sure, by my great-grandmother from a family Bible), Margery Mayfield Roberts died May 30th 1853--which, coincidentally, is the birthdate of her daughter, and my ancestress, MARGERY Roberts. According to the 1850 census, Margery Mayfield was born in Tennessee; her age is given as 24, which means she was born c. 1826. Larkin Roberts was born in Kentucky; according to the information provided by my g-grandmother, he was born March 28, 1812. According to information I have recently received, he was the son of Benjamin Roberts and Sarah "Sally" Simmons. Children of Larkin Roberts and Margery Mayfield: 1.Lewis B.ROBERTS b.1845 IL 2.Mary E. ROBERTS b.1848 IL d.12 Oct 1855 IL Wright Cemetery 3.Sarah Ann ROBERTS b.1851 d.22 June 1852 Wright Cemetery 4.Robert S. ROBERTS b.1850 d.1857 IL 5.Margery ROBERTS b.1853 IL m. Daniel Nelson Freeman 28 Jan 1869 Children of Larkin & 2nd wife Elizabeth Swan: 1.Martha J. ROBERTS b.1858 IL 2.Nancy A. b.1860 IL d.1861 Wright Cemetery Any further information on Larkin Roberts or Margery Mayfield, or their families, would be highly appreciated! Thank you. Jill

    2. In the 1880 Census for Sedgwicke Co. KS my grt. grt. grandmother was listed as Anna and born in Illinois. I have no idea what county she was born in that is why I have gone to the county list of IL for help. I went to the LDS center and her husband had a pedigree and that is where I found her listed as Rhoda Ann Chapman, but someone had guessed that she had been born in 1849 in Nashville, Davidson Co, TN. So would you please help me find her and thanks and blessings to you. Pastor Barbara

    2. Rosemary
    3. Hello, I'm new to this list, and new to genealogical research. I know that this is a long shot, but here goes. In 1899, Henry Weishaupt & Mena Weishaupt of Pleasant Mound, Bond County, IL, executed a warranty deed to some property in Pike County, MO, to a Joseph Story of Pleasant Mound, Bond County, IL. Henry Weishaupt was a son or a nephew of my great grandfather, Conrad Weishaupt of Prairietown, IL. Would anybody have any information on any of the above named people? I would greatly appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks! Rosemary roz1@poweruser.com
