My grandfather was Jonnie Brown and was born 7-8-1900 in middle TN. I'm not sure of the city. His birth mother was not married to his father, but his step-mother was Matilda and his half brothers were all the ones you listed, like Sherman, Will, Crit, Lon, Seth & a half sister, Maude. I didn't know of Bessie. I don' t know if I can help you in any way, but you could probably help me with my search. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know.
