    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: HUDSON, JAMES Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/He.2ADI/332 Message Board Post: Transcription of a bible page on the marriage of Jessie Hudson (Poplar Bluff, Mo) and Effie A. Conner nee Ray (Poplar Bluff, MO): "This is to certifiy that Jesse Hudson of Poplar Bluff, Mo and Efie A. Conner of Poplar Bluff, Mo were united by me in the bonds of holy matriomony at Cairo, Ill on the 26 day of July 1914. In the presence of J.A. Wright and E.C. James, signed August Bode, Justice of the Peace." Jesse Hudson was born in Villa Ridgem 1890 to Lewis Hudson, son of William Hudson. Hus brother Louis Eugene Hudson was born in Cairo, Il in 1896. They had a sister Elizabeth. In 1941, Louis Eugene Hudson applied for a delayed birth certificate to work in a WWII factory and an "Aunt Millie James" of 1111 Washington Ave., Cairo, Ill supplied the information. On the 1920 and 1930 Census for Cairo, I find Eugene C. James and wife Millie. The 1920 census supplies info that they had a 17 year old son, but the name is unclear. I believe that this Millie was Millie Hudson, born ca. 1871 in Indiana and listed on the 1880 Pulaski County, ILL census in the home of William Hudson and Emily Hudson, along with her brother, Lewis Hudson, and stepbrother, Benjamin Kane. Very interested in communicating with people connected to these lines.
