I'm not sure who her father was either. I don't believe it was Richard Mack Lindsay because I have a copy of his obituary, death certificate and record of death from the funeral home and there is no mention of Lola as being his daughter. He died 10 years before his former wife, Sarah Ellen Lackey did. I have no idea who her husband was or when they were married. I'd say it was before 1953 in either Alexander or Pulaski Co., Illinois but that is only an educated guess. Lola Ellis is a mystery and possible key that might lead me further into my own great grandmother's ancestor's. I don't have much on her either. Her parents are unknown to me. In the death certificate I have her mother and father are listed as unknown. I was hoping to find a link between your Ellis name and my Lola Ellis. Maybe someday we'll know!! Thanks! Matthew S.
