The Lem Henderson you mention in the story is my great-grandfather. The trouble I have with this story is the Henderson name can be traced back to Missouri census Bolinger Co. where Lemuel is 3 years old in 1860 and George is listed in 1870 Alexander Co. IL with his father Riley Henderson. It's an interesting story but does not seem to come together. Tom Sams
