He disappears from Franklin Co., IL where he has been from 1880-1910 . In the Il Death Index they have a Isereal Nicholes Mc Carty dying june 6, 1918 in Tamms, Alex. Co.,IL. I am still waiting for the cert. to see if it is him. He would have his wife Sarah, step-daughter Niobe, and 4 sons orval, James, Clarence, and Theron with them. In 1922 when my g grandmother moves to Elkhart, IN she only has my grandfather James and Clarence. I don't know if Orval & Theron pass away before 1916 or what. My aunt Nioba marries in Elkhart in 1931. She states her surname as Elmore nee Branson and says she divorced in Nov 1930. Is there someone who could check death records before 1916, divorce record & marriage record for Nioba., city directories. I can't even find these people in 1920 census.
