A Terrane Curran is listed in the household of Patrick Corkan in the 1850 census. My 3great grandfather is Terrance Curran. The man listed in the house of Patrick Corkan is the right age and is from Ireland. My Terrance worked for the railroad later in his life and his occupation listed on this census is "cod sub" (from what I could read). I'm thinking that this has something to do with the railroad. I'm at a brick wall with this ancestor. I know that he came from Ireland sometime before 1850 as he was 19 in 1850. I'm trying to find out how, when, where etc. This brings me back to Patrick Corkan. If you know of this family or anything about the railroad, please contact me at sallysuewho@hotmail.com Thank you. The Patrick Corkan family were listed as Patrick Corkan 30 Nancy 36 Mary A. 11 Jeremiah 8 John 6 Patrick Corkan 76 Peter O'Brian 21 Terrane Curran 19
