Rachel Robbs married James Goodman in Alexander Co. in 1875. In the 1880 census they have a daughter, Alva Goodman. Rachel died in 1884 and is buried at Bankert. She is somehow related to Arthur and Buelah Goodman, also buried there. Does anyone know of Alva Goodman who would have been born around 1878? I found a 2nd marriage record for a James Goodman in Alexander, but it was before Rachel died. Of course, they may have divorced. Anna Elia Sawn was the name of the 2nd Goodman wife. They married in 1878. SHARON BROWN winston@apex.net Why Wait? Move to EarthLink.
I am searching for Eva Hutton. She was living with her parents in the 1880 Alexander Co. census as a two year old. She was called Evvie. (Clear Creek) Her parents were Eliza and A. J. Hutton. Eliza remarried Edmond B. Garaghty after Mr. Huttton died. In 1910 they lived in Herrin in Williamson Co. IL. Other children living with the Garaghty family were grandson, Ertus (Urlis, Curtis?) Hutton, granddaguthers, Esie and Helen Smith. Eva was listed in the 1910 census as Eva D. Belch, but I think it should have been Belcher. SHARON BROWN winston@apex.net Why Wait? Move to EarthLink.

I am wondering if anyone knows the location of the Henderson family cemetery? My grandparents lived in Olive Branch, then Thebes, so I am familiar with the area, though they passed away over 30 years ago. I would appreciate directions, even a general area to look would be helpful. Thank you.
