I am researching the McFarland family in Adams county and Ohio.  My GGGrandfather was John Arthur McFarland 1788 - 1840.  He is the father of William Madison, Joseph Hamilton and Daniel Green McFarland, all prominent citizens of Adams County in the 1800's.  My GGranfather was John's son Benjamin McFarland who I have learned is buried in Hebron Cemetery near Camp Point.  I am trying to verify that John Arthur was a twin with Arthur McFarland.  I can't find any records with both of them mentioned together, however, William Madison McFarland's bio in the History of Adams County, Illinois says William and his wife Eliza were the children of twins.  Does anyone have any further information on Eliza?
