He died and their 7 children went to live with friends and neighbors. Sophia remarried in 1869(Lee county, Illinois) to Jesse BURGER. She died and Jesse remarried to Sarah LAWRENCE in 1871. George WELFELT is my great uncle. Adam's son , Abraham Lincoln WELFELT was my great grandfather.
