He would be William Lazarus Marshall and she was Elizabeth Adella Slade (or Adella Elizabeth)the had three children, Mary, Fred and Walter. He may have been a Post Master in the Merrill, WI area late 1800s early 1900s. She might have run a boarding house. We don't have any information before them other than the Slades may have come from England by way of New York. He had three brothers that left, apparently to follow a gold rush, never to be heard from again. I am guessing that William and Elizabeth would have been born around 1865 to 1870.
