I have done extensive research on the ZOPF/ZOPH names in Adams County, IL. I don't have a connection to any ZOPF in Kankakee. The Eilizabeth ZOPH mentioned in the article is the daughter of Henry and Katharina SIEBERT ZOPF both born in Germany. They had two other children Adam (b:circa 1820) and Henry Jr. (b: circa 1821) One of these days I need to branch out a bit and see how the ZOPF's from Kanakee look but I haven't done that yet.
