They came from Henry County, IL. They were all farmers here in Henry County and when they are listed in the Adams Co. Census William is a shoemaker and Maxwell is a carpenter. I'm looking for an historian in Adams Co to ask what might have drawn them there. William and Sarah were in their late 60's or early 70's when they moved. It seems like a long move for their age. They were born in New Jersey and went to Warren Co, Ohio in the 1830's then on to Henry Co, in 1857. I just wondered if they went to Adams Co for jobs, religion or were there other family members there? If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate a reply. Thanks. Steve
