    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Wg.2ADE/3868.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Lynnea, The names & dates are as follows: B.I. 1815-1871; Elizabeth (His Wife) 1821-1899; Corpl. Wm., Co.D, 137 Ill. Inf.; Ida 1862-1882; Eddie 1864-1864; Anna 1850-1854; Alfred I. 1848-1896; Sarah E.(His Wife) 1849-1906. Sarah's date of interment is given as Sept.16, 1906 in the cemetery index. I noticed there were other Chattens buried in the same area as these folks. Are you taking 61 North all the way past Palmyra, Marion Co., Mo.? If so, about 10 miles north of Palmyra you'll come to highway 24, which will take you into Quincy. As soon as you get off the bridge, turn right. You'll be on route 57, going south. It will seem like quite aways, but go until you hit the second stop light. This will be Jefferson St. Turn left, then take the first right. You are now at Woodland Cemetery. The entrance is 1 1//2 blocks down the street. To get to the Chatten graves--when you get into the cemetery take the first right turn. Just as the road starts to curve back to the left, there's a large old tree stump on the left hand side. The Chatten plot is about 50 feet in from that stump, towards the center of the cemetery. There's actually a sort of cement step with B.I. Chatten chiseled on it. If none of this makes sense, please let me know, and I'll try to explain it better. If you knew when you'd be coming thru town, I could mark the site for you somehow. Hope this helps. Libby
