nope, but its the type that if you "bat" your eyes hard, you miss it all! I know that when you turn off on 24 from 336, you will come to Fowler first, then Paloma then Clayton. (I know Paloma is down the same road as Fowler and not much farther down. My friend that lives in Fowler has a gravel road by his house that if you follow it, in just a short time you are in Lorraine. I don't usually go out that way unless I go to their houses or I am attempting to raid Brown County's records! Ok now that I am totally lost, LOL is Fowler South of Quincy or North or East? I am only familier with the areas north of Quincy and Yes I agree Linda, I miss Quincy and have been away from there for 35 years. I don't know what it is but I creid all the way to Utah when I left Quincy and swore I would hate Utah and I did. I have missed it back home ever since. I know it would not be the same if I went back to live though. Almost all my fmaily (both sides) were from either Hancock Co, or Adams County or over in Canton Missouri from the time the counties started and some are still there. I think maybe that is why I still miss it. Did you guys go to school there? yes shawnnee i went to golden to school and then to camp point high the home of the panters. that was back in 1965 when I got married. and fowler is north of quincy then east on hwy 24 a total of about 20 miles give or take a mile or to if you get a atlas you can find it. there is new hwy that has changed some of that area but fowler is still there and there is a cemetary there not sure of the name. now loraine is well noth of that up above hwy 61 north of mendon ill. my mothers sister used to live there before her husband past away in 1999. so I do know the area well. I hope you get back to quincy some day you will be happy when you do. good luck Linda Shawnnee Ramey wrote:Ok now that I am totally lost, LOL is Fowler South of Quincy or North or East?
