In search of info on the following family: Name: John Henry Ellerman Birth: Sep 1822 Place of Birth: Germany Death: 3 Feb 1903 Place of Death: Quincy, Adams County, Illinois Married: abt 1850 To: Friederike Goessling Born: Dec 1829 Place of Birth: Germany Died: 14 Feb 1926 Place of Death: Quincy, Adams County, Illinois Children: Clara Ellerman (Jontz) Ricke Ellerman, married William Waermke/Wermke/Warmker William Ellerman Hannah "Minnie" Ellerman, married William Nothold Anna M. Ellerman, married Henry Herman Heidbreder According to Anna's marriage license, her father's name was John Henry Ellerman; but according to Henry Ellerman's obit, his name was William Henry Ellerman. In the obit, it states that his surviving children are William Ellermann, Mrs. William Warmker, and Mrs. William Nothold. I also have his will and some of the probate papers. They just state Henry Ellermann. So, this is just a little confusing to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
