hi, Would anyone on the list have ideas on the simplest way a friend of mine could get a faded page recopied from a will? Pasted below is a copy of her e-mail: I have a request for the will of Theodore Wheeler, I find that I have only the 1st and last pages of this will. It was not a copy that you could keep forever. Page 2 has faded until you cannot make it out. Was wondering if you could locate it for me and get a copy. I do not have a # of the document. Here is the info that I have taken from the document: (Theodore S. Wheeler of the town of Columbus in the County of Adams and State of ILL. of the age of 72.) I think the S stands for Sampson. Page 3 has "In witness whereof I have_____ to set my hand and ____this 12th day of October on the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and ninety nine." Has his mark signature. thanx dennis
