He was the 2nd son of Fay Robinson Winchester. Charles was born in 1846 in VT. He married in 1870. That marriage ended in 1880. My next information is his application for pension in Chicago in 1892. My gr-grandfather George Henry Winchester never heard from him after 1885. Maybe you've got access to obits in the 1890s-1900 in the Chicago area. Thank you. Barbara White
