Dittmar..Sophie died in 1944..came over on the ship with l daughter Harriet...to Chicago,IL..to meet up with her husband who came earlier..Ludwig Sowa..My mom Wanda Sowa Beyer was the only child born here..and my mom just passed away a year ago..and was 87..My Dad's Name was Fred E. Beyer, he always told me his ANCESTORS were from around the Rhine River area.. My grandparents left there oldest daughter in Germany(don't know what town) Maria, with the blind Great Grandmother...she later married and had 2 children a boy and girl..after the war broke out they lost contact with Maria.. I see you listed the name of the area where these people came from..Trying to see if I still have any ANCESTORS in Germany..Would appreciate any kind of help that you can give..thru your contact with your cousin in Germany..
