It says that Charles W. Kessler was born 6 Oct 1840. The photo was taken in 1866 and is a carte de visite size photo. I found a Chas W. Kessler, b. 1846, age 24, listed as a farmhand with his wife Anna B., living in Camp Point, Adams County, IL in the 1870 Census. I found a tree with this Charles W. that says he died 17 Sept 1924 in Camp Point, IL. Please contact me if you have an interest in this photo.
