Would like to verify parents and correct birth date of Gretje/Hannah Bunting, (umlaut over u), born 1837-1838 in Timmel, Ostfriesland. She married Bartelt Hinrichs Bartell, on 19 June 1857, in Adams County, IL. Bart was born 1823 in Fahne, Ostfriesland. Marriage certificate does not show parents. Archives states there is no death certificate available for Gretje. Both are buried in Kopmann Cemetery, near Flatville, in Champaign County, Illinois. Timmel OSB indicates she may be a child of Focke Meints Bunting and Gretje Focken (Kettwich) deVries, but I would like to substantiate this. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
