Kentucky to Illinois after 1850 and died in Illinois before 1859, but the county is unknown. Samuel was born in Maryland. Due to his advanced age, he likely moved to Illinois because he was probably living with a son (possibly Robert Barnes) or a daughter who moved to Illinois.
