I will take your advise & try the library. my parents always said they spelled thier name, eledge,eldrid & eldred. the cencus spelled it, eldridge. i have been searching the names of my gtgr parents since 1985. the info i have found makes me very, he would have been 79 or 80 when my gr parents left brown co & moved to ks, a dar melvia married a daniels in quincy, she died in pike co mo in 1932, found no information. unable find the other sisters, margaret & mary. it seems to me thier children just drove off and left them. gratefully wayne mcmeins
