"The Death Of Mrs. Oertle, A Former Quincy Woman, In St. Louis - Will Be Buried Tomorrow" Mrs. Margaret Oertle, widow of the late Alexander Oertle, formerly of Quincy, died at 7:40 o'clock Sunday night in St. Louise, at the home of her daughter, 2834 Franklin avenue, aged 61 years. She is survived by the following children: Julius H. Oertle, Mrs. Edward Baker, Henry C. Oertle, and Jos. L. Oertle. The remains will arrive here tomorrow noon, and the funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon. See funeral notice elsewhere. DEATH: The Quincy Jornal Newspaper, dated 23 January 1906, page 3, colume 3. The funeral of the late Mrs. Margaret Oertle, of St. Louis, will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, afternoon, at 2:15 o'clock from Freiburg's chapel, and at 3:30 o'clock from St. Boniface church. "Remains Are Shipped Here - Body of Mrs. Margareta Oertle Who Died In St. Louis" The remains of Mrs. Margareta Oertle, a former resident of Quincy, whose death occurred in St. Louis, arrived in the city at noon today, accompanied by the surviving members of her family. She passed away at 7:40 o'clock Sunday evening. Mrs. Oertle was 61 years of age and was born in Quincy. She was the widow of Alexander Oertle, who died about two years ago at the family home in St. Louis. Mrs. Oertle's family surname was Holthaus and she has a brother in Quincy. Of the immediate family there are three sons, Julius H., Henry C., and Joseph L. Oertle, and one daughter, Mrs. Edward Baker, all of them reside in St. Louis. Mrs. Oertle had been making her home lately with her daughter, whose address is 2834 Franklin avenue. The Oertles removed from Quincy about 25 years ago and have since been living in St. Louis.
