"Alex Oertle Died in St. Louis - Remains of Former Quincy Man Will be Brought to This City for Burial" Word was received in the city yesterday of the death in St. Louis of Alexander Oertle, formerly of this city. Mr. Oertle some years ago conducted a meat market on South Sixth street near the place where the Wabash depot now stands. He left Quincy about seven or eight years ago and has since made his home in St. Louis. The remains will be brought to this city for burial in the family lot at St. Boniface. There are many friends of the family in Quincy who will regret to hear of Mr. Oertle's death. He is survived by his wife.
