The 1830 census lists Samuel Penrod age 50-60, one female age 40--50 who would have been wife Mary, one male age 40-50 who would be son Solomon, two females age 20-30, one female age 15-20, and one male age 5-10. Samuel and Mary Penrod sold about 45 acres of land being the southwest one-fourth of the northwest one-fourth of section six of Richfield Township, Adams Co., IL, to Jacob Franks for three hundred dollars on December 12, 1833. You may want to contact Delbert Penrod and get his book which costs about ten dollars and look on page 20 where there is a lot of the information that you are looking for.
