Married William Thomas in 1834 in Franklin Co. Ohio. They moved to Pike Co.IL. in the early 1840's. I'm trying to connect her to these Cole's. John Cole, born abt. 1780 in Penn. died 25 Apr. 1859. Wife, Elizabeth (unknown) born abt. 1787 in Penn. died 13 Apr. 1859. Both John and Elizabeth are buried in the Johnson Cemetery in Pike Co.IL. They are listed in the 1850 census in Hadley Twp., Pike Co. IL. I have information on one son of their. I believe they had more children. The one son I have information on is. Charles W. Cole, born 22 Oct. 1828, died 6 Jun. 1905. I think he was born in Ohio. He served in the Civil War with the 78th IL. Inf. Co.E. Charles W. Cole married Nancy Jane Stauffer in Adams Co.IL. on 23 Apr. 1857. Nancy was born 3 Jan. 1837 and died 29 Apr. 1914. They are both buried in Mound Prairie Cemetery in Beverly Twp.,Adams Co.IL. Charles and Nancy lived most their lives in Pike Co.IL. and Beverly Twp. Adams Co.IL. Nancy's mother's name was Sarah. The children I have for Charles W. Cole and Nancy J. Stauffer, are Sarah E; John D; Alice; William S.; Fanny Etta; Mary L.; Annie Jane. I hope someone can help.
