According to family tradition, my gg-grandfather, James K.P. Liggett died in the Soldiers and Sailors home in Quincy. He served in the Civil War. I have found no record of him there at the State Archives. I've requested his military records, but I am still waiting. I found a death certificate at the Archives, but I don't believe it is my James Liggett. Is there someplace I can request a copy of the obit to help me rule it out? Carla Leber
yes depending on the date, it may be available in Quincy or the State Historical Library ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carla and Jeff Leber" <lebrpack@dpc.net> To: <ILADAMS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2002 10:50 AM Subject: [ILADAMS] Obit question > According to family tradition, my gg-grandfather, James K.P.
